i. MR. KWADWO ASIEDU-GYIMAH, ASSISTANT HEADMASTER
(ADMINISTRATION) was born on 10th May 1949 in Cape Coast but his parents hail from Twendurase - Kwahu in the Eastern Region. He is married with three children.

He started his primary education at Aggrey Memorial Primary School at Cape Coast from 1955 to 1961. He continued at Presbyterian Middle Boarding School at Awisa in Eartern Region from 1961 to 1963. Mr. Asiedu-Gyimah gained admission into Adisadel College and between 1963 and 1968 pursued a five year course of full-time study during which he obtained his G.C.E. Ordinary Level Certificate. He gained admission to Winneba Post Secondary College from 1968 to 1970. Whilst in Adisadel College he was one of the celebrated sports students. He was an active member of the College Athletics, Hockey and Soccer teams.

He continued his sporting carrier in Winneba Post Secondary College where he was a member of almost all the sports disciplines. In 1969 he was appointed the sports prefect. Mr. Asiedu-Gyimah completed Winneba post secondary college in 1970 and got his Teacher's certificate "A" Post Sec. He taught for one year and he became the headteacher of Anglican Middle School in Asesewa from 1971-1973. Later in 1973 Mr. Asiedu-Gyimah gained admission to Specialist Training College (now University College of Education, Winneba) to pursue a coure in health, Physical Education and Recreation after which he obtained his Teacher's
Diploma - Physical Education in 1977. After his graduation at Winneba he taught at Komenda Training College from 1977 to 1978 then transferred to Adisadel College where he was made Knight Housemaster from 1978 to 1981.

In 1980 Mr. Asiedu-Gyimah was promoted by the Ghana Education Service (GES) to the rank of senior superintendent.

He left the shores of Ghana for U.S.A. and later to teach in Nigeria between 1982 at C.A.C. Teachers College, Efon Alaye in Ondo State, Nigeria. Since there is no place like home, he retruned to Ghana and was re-engaged by the G.E.S. on 1st March 1985. He took up a teaching appointment at the University Practice Secondary School, Cape Coast, from 1985 to 1988 worked assiduously to bring the sporting activities of the school to limelight.

Mr. Asiedu-Gyimah very much wanted to be one of the pioneers to enter the Physical Education Degree Course when it was introduced at University of Cape Coast. God granted his wish. He was offered admission to U.C.C. in 1986 as one of the pioneers to enter the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. With tenacity of purpose, assiduity coupled with hard learning, he went through his B.Ed(Physical Education) and Diploma in Human Anatomy and Physiology course and came out meritoriously with excellence and credibility in 1990.

He was posted to Adisadel College thereafter and was appointed Elliott Housemaster from 1990 to 1995.

On 1st September 1991 he was promoted by the G.E.S. to the rank of Principal Superintendent. By dint of hard work he was elevated to the position of Senior Housemaster in 1995 till 1999. Approval was given by His excellency the President after an interview for his promotion to the Grade of Assistant Director (G.E.S.) with effect from 1st September 1994. Being the energetic and hardworking man that he is Mr. Asiedu-Gyimah was invited by the Institute for International Sport (U.S.A.) as a Soccer Coach to the Second World Scholar Athlete Games in Rhode Island United States of America from June - July 1997. His excellent and skilful performance at the world scholar games gave him another ticket to the United States Scholar Athlete Games in Rhode Island, U.S.A. from June - July 1999. Mr. Asiedu-Gyimah won shared award 0 the teacher of the year in 2000. He became the Assistant Headmaster (Academic) in January 2002 - May 2000. He assumed the position of the Assistant Headmaster (Administration) from June 2000 to present.
