EXCELLENCE IN ACADEMICS
The College this year had a wonderful academic season. It was as if this year was ours. Due to the hard work of our students, Master Bismark Odei managed to win the overall best student for the Central Region with Master Felix Ayisi Yeboah as the best male. One of our teachers Mr. J.K.Sam of the Maths Department was also awarded the best teacher during the 45th Independence Day Celebrations. We also had a wonderful performance during the National Science and Maths Quiz by making it to the quarterfinals, which showed an improvement in our academic work compared to last year's performance.

ACHIEVEMENTS IN SPORTS
Adisadel College has for a long time been successful in sporting events organised in the Central Region and beyond. Last year we won the Kofi Annan cup which was competed for at the Adisadel-Mfantsipim Fun Day Games which was held at the El Wak Stadium but unfortunately Mfantsipim managed to beat us and took the cup this year.

At the annual Inter Schools and Colleges Athletics Competition held this year Adisadel emerged the winners. Mfantsipim gave us a tough time but through our maximum effort of our athletic team, we became the Central Regional champions for the 2001/2002 academic year. Kwaku Mensah Nimako (a.k.a. aserewa) was awarded Athlete of the Year.

The school's Hockey team put up a brilliant performance this year to transpire as the regional champions. The team played several matches and finally made it to the finals where we met Ghana National College. The scores at the end of the game were nil-nil. We then proceeded to the champion of champions since Ghana National had a 1-1 draw with Mfantsipim. We played Apam Secondary School at the championship level and brought them down by four goals to nothing.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The Administration in conjunction with the Science Department organised an inter-houses science quiz for all ten houses on campus. All the houses keenly contested the quiz. Unfortunately for Knight house they dropped out at the initial stages of the contest but Hamlyn house and Le Maire house managed their way through and placed first and second respectively.
The Writers Debaters and Drama Club organised an inter-houses debated competition for all the ten houses. At the end of the two-week competition, Jubilee house emerged winners with Elliot house being the first runner up.
The Wildlife and Greenearth Club as well as the Writers Debaters and Drama Club and other clubs on campus undertook various clean-up exercises at different times inside and outside the campus with the aim of keeping our surroundings clean. The religious groups on campus also did the same thing by cleaning certain portions of the school to preserve the beauty of the school.
